Are we nearly there yet?
We’ve been on the ferry to Iceland for two days now. I think it’s safe to say we’ve all got cabin fever. This has been our entertainment:
This afternoon the ferry pulled up at the ruggedly beautiful Faeroes Islands in the middle of the North Atlantic Sea, population of 48,000. Crikey. I think more people live on the Kilburn High Road.
We’re ready to get started now. Today is our last day in transit – tomorrow we arrive in Iceland and our project begins in earnest.

I’m expecting you to bring me a balloon in the shape of a poodle home with you!

Ad, the guy watching the balloon wrestler with a triumphantly satircal air about him is – surely, studying your pictures – the seismograph trainer…it’s like an episode of Columbo with an implausibly small cast. P X
